Afridi Leads from the Front as Pakistan Beat Bangladesh by 55 Runs

Pakistan's batting line-up came up trumps after a long time in their first match of the World T20 2016 helping the team to pile up 201/5 and beat Bangladesh by 55 runs.

Ahmed Shehzad and Mohammad Hafeez, and Shahid Afridi were all amongst the runs with Afridi scoring 49 of just 19 balls. Hafeez scored for 64 off 42 balls while Shehzad scored  52.

Bangladesh had a shaky start losing Sarkar in the very first over to a fast incoming delivery by Amir.

Only Tamim Iqbal and Shaqib offered some resistance and the team could score only 146/6 against a strong Pakistani bowling attack.  Shaqib was the heighest scorer for Bangladesh with unbeaten 52.
