NDA 2016 Exam on 17th April, Application Deadline-29th Jan

NDA (I) 2016 Exam will take place on the 17th of april. From today the UPSC has started accepting Application for the Exam. Students can apply for the exam till 29th Jan 2016.The results of the written examination of NDA will be expected to be declared in 2 months time after the written exam.

Important Dates: NDA (I)

Application Start Date :     January 2, 2016

Last date of Application:  January 29, 2016

•The tentative date declares by UPSC for the result of written examination of NDA is 2 months after the written exam which means the examination is on April 17th 2016 so we can expect till the month of July.

Important Dates: NDA (II)

•The online application form can start filling from June 6, 2016.

•The last date of online application is up to 15thjune 2016

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates must be Born after 2nd July 1997 but  not later than 1st July 2000 are eligible for NDA 1 2016.The candidates who are have passed class 12 or appearing with physics, chemistry and mathematics as a subject can apply for this. However minimum marks in this case is 60 %

Exam Pattern:

The NDA exam consists of two papers. First one is mathematics and the second one is general ability test.

Mathematics: This paper consist multiple choice question of mathematics based on the syllabus of class 11 and 12.The time limit of this paper is 2.5 hours.

General Ability: In this part there are two sections. First section is of English with 200 marks and the second section consists of general knowledge with 400 marks.

Selection Process:

Those applicants who clear the written examination, will be called for the personal interview round to be conducted by the Services Selection Board(SSB) of the Ministry of Defence. Admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings. SSB interview last for 4-5 days process and the final merit list is prepared and the selection is done after the medical process and document verification.

At the SSB interview, they will have to submit their original certificates of age, educational qualification, and categorical reservation claim.

The Exam Result doesn’t show the marks obtained by the candidates. It shows only the status of the qualified candidates

Detailed marks would be made available on the UPSC’s website within 15 days of the announcement of the final results after the conduct of the SSB Interviews
